The classy looking Pooja has waited long for this. And her wait to leave an impression among movie buffs in Kollywood has been realized thanks to a good outing in Madhavan starrer Thambi.

However the actress, who should be celebrating her success, had a miraculous escape from a road mishap in Bangalore last week.

Last week, when the actress was on her way to Bangalore airport, the car, in which she was traveling, was hit from behind by a lorry. Pooja was rushed to the nearby hospital with bleeding injuries. After being in hospital for over a week, the actress was discharged a couple of days ago and is back in the sets.

Recalling the mishap, she says, 'when the lorry hit my car, I went unconscious only to see myself in the hospital. When I thought my career was over, thanks to doctors and prayers by my family-members helped me recover fast'.

But her agony is overshadowed by the happiness over Thambi’s good show. She is happy that her performance too is being taken note of.

Pooja now awaits the release of her Pattiyal and Thagappansamy.

After Thambi, she has also been flooded with offers.
